Looking Back At 2013 (2)

Hallo meine Lieben,
da bin ich wieder! Hoff euch geht's gut ^.^

Hello my lovliest,
I'm back! Hope you're fine ^.^
The previous weeks I was busy with studying and working so I couldn't blog nor read yours. Well, this week my laptop got broken (don't even know what's exactly wrong) which makes me kinda go insane. :( Anhyways, I'm (kinda) back so let's move to today's nailart:

Hayao Miyazaki retires

Hayao Miyazaki annouced his retirement earlier this September and this time he seems to be serious. His most famous works are surely My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away for which he won an Oscar. Miyazaki's movies are magical and no matter how old you are they warm the cockles of the heart. It's sad that he's retiring from the movie industry but do not worry, we will still be able to enjoy his works. He's currently working on a manga and if you remember Heidi, Girl of the Alps or Anne of Green Gables for which he did the scence design and layout you'll know what we can expect.

My nailart shows the master himself. I also add the Ghibli Studio logo on my thumb, I mean it's Totoro afterall hihi Hope you like this little tribute to Mr Miyazaki.
Which one is your favorite Hayao Miyazaki movie? I love The Cat's Return the most even though he "only" works as a producer here. ^.^

Love Peace n Kiss

    1. Oh really? Didn't know about that :O I just saw some pics of him working on his new manga. Well, I actually still think that he will be involved in some movie project one way or another, just because he's just a workaholic :D

  4. I love all Ghibli movies, each one is special on their own way... if I had to say which of these movies left an impact on me, I'd have to say it was Hotaru no Haka and Pom Poko.
