Carnival Nails: A Happy Clown

Hallo meine Lieben,

Hello my loves,
today a short post. I actually don't celebrate carnival but this year I thought I'd do a small nailart for this occasion. For this design I painted my nails with essie's blanc, then topped it with Etude House Play Nail #116 Sweet Bong Bong (Review will come soon) and then painted the clown on my middle finger with a black nail art pen and acrylic paints. The clown is very simple, I wasn't too creative on him but I still like it somehow.
Do you celebrate carnival and/ or dress up?

Have a fun!
Anhy

P.S. Yess, I cut my nails and change the shape. I will talk about it in my blog post on sunday ^.^

I like how it turned out too (that orange afro! xD) and so matching with Etude House Sweet Bong Bong :) Haha, the hat makes me think of Charlie Chaplin for a moment :P But thanks to Stephen King, I still think clowns are creepy >.< aiks!

psst: speedy growth for your nails! :)

  7. I'm loving Etude House at the moment! I've not got anything of theirs but i've been stalking their website and facebook! Thank you for your blog comment, it is always lovely to see familiar names come up on the dashboard! (ah, blog friends!) The kurt gieger boots i bought are comfy, the most comfortable heels I own. They were pretty pricy, so I would have been really mad if they weren't comfortable! x

    1. Etude House has such great packaging and most of their products are great too. I especially love their BB Creams and now I've fallen in love with their polishes as well :D
You're welcome sweetheart, I genuinly enjoy reading your blog so I have to comment hihi And thanks for letting me know, I've never tried those kind of boots before so I was curious. haha But you're right, when they're pricy they should be at least comfy too :D

  8. I'm not a huge fan of clowns really but love this mani! The glitter is so cute too! Think it's going on the wishlist. How was application for it?

    1. The application was good, for this nail art I only used one coat and I think it's a decent amount of glitter that you get for only 1 coat :)

    1. Thanks hun! Do you mean the base color (which is essie's blanc) or the glitter topper? The topper is quite good, you get a pretty decent amount of glitter with only one coat ^.^
